Launched May 7, 1765, the HMS Victory was victorious at the Battle of Trafalger when, commanded by Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson, she confronted combined fleets of France and Spain. She is currently the admiral's flagship and rests in No. 2 dry dock at Portsmouth Naval Base in England.
